About Us

Owner and Master Craftsman, Christopher Beresford brought his company Britannia Mouldings to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2003.   Mr. Beresford gained his knowledge of the age old art of Mould-making and Mould-manufacture in his native England, bringing with him to the United States over 15 years of experience.

Chris and Britannia Mouldings’ craftsmen bring a wealth of experience to their craft, all having worked on prestigious projects worldwide.  The work of the Britannia Mouldings artisans can be found in and around London in such renowned locations such as the Windsor Castle, The Dorchester Hotel, The Grosvenor Hotel, and Harrods; in Paris at the George V Hotel; and in private palaces in the Middle East.  Our experience also includes Restoration work of Museums, Churches, and Government buildings throughout Europe.

Now based in San Francisco, the craftsmen of Britannia Mouldings have worked on projects throughout the US and Canada.  In addition to the extensive work that Britannia Mouldings has done throughout Northern California, the artisans have also worked on projects in New York City, Miami, Los Angeles, and Toronto.

Britannia Mouldings prides itself on fusing time honored traditions and materials with modern techniques.  Our mouldings offer the depth and definition of the most intricate of designs that can not be achieved by other methods or materials. You will appreciate the sharpness of our Mouldings.
